Does this include tax?

The gift allowance is before tax. The results separately estimate tax on the combined gift subtotal. Enter zero for no estimated tax. Actual taxes and rounding can differ by seller and location.

What if my extra costs exceed the budget?

The calculator asks you to reduce those costs or increase the total. It does not recommend borrowing or show a negative gift allowance.

Can I spend different amounts on different people?

This calculator provides an equal starting allowance. You can redistribute the gifts subtotal while keeping the total, tax and extra costs within your budget.
